Leben bis Zuletzt approaches through film the great taboo of our times: death and dying. The focus of this documentary are patients with incurable cancer who face death. The film accompanies them from their decision to end their lives at a hospice in Vienna, CS Hospiz Rennweg, to their admittance into the hospice or in-home care, then finally until their discharge or death. The surprising paradox is that, in the face of death, the most important thing is life!
