The unemployed Cuban actress Ana decides to pretend that she’s a hooker for a documentary about prostitution. She does so well that her character gradually becomes the film’s focus, which causes complete chaos in her real life. And when Helmut, the director, falls in love with her, the whole fabric of lies is in danger of falling apart.
