LIFE ETERNAL wins Young Blood Award at Beaune

 
Things are getting dark for down-and-out detective Brenner: In LIFE ETERNAL he approaches a dead end as he wakes up at hospital, a bullet in his head, nobody supporting him to find out who could have attempted to kill him. Wolfgang Murnberger has adapted a new adventure of the lonesome ex-cop embodied in an outstanding performance by Josef Hader.  At the 7th Beaune Festival International du Film Policier LIFE ETERNAL was awarded the Young Blood Award .

Brenner returns to Graz, the city where he grew up. When confronted with his old friends, his former girlfriend, and the major sin he committed when he was young, a fateful gunshot to the head results. After Brenner comes out of a coma, he begins to search for the person who tried to kill him. However everybody claims that himself is responsible… And no one else.
