Berlinale 2016: BROTHERS OF THE NIGHT by Patric Chiha at Panorama Dokumente

Patric Chiha’s Brothers Of The Night (Brüder der Nacht) adds to the Austrian line-up at the upcoming 66th Berlinale. Chiha’s gentle and colorful portraits of young Bulgarian Roma who come to Vienna in order to make quick money by selling their bodies will be part of  Panorama Dokumente.

Soft boys by day, kings by night: That’s how the young Bulgarian Roma are when they come to Vienna looking for freedom and a quick buck. They sell their bodies as if that’s all they have. The thing that warms them, so far from home, is the feeling of togetherness. But the nights are long and unpredictable.
