180 - hundertachtzig

Ludwig Löckinger
Loose pixels and patterns grow into the image of a woman. Dissolve: two men in a car. One sees something which the other one doesn't. A world broken up in pixels. To see and not to see. By those first images you are set into the world of 180 . 180 seconds of T.V. screen time is what the T.V. reporter gets for his daily reports. In a newspaper he finds a small note about Hannelore Zoller who, traumatized by a subway accident, hasn't left her apartment in 5 years. The reporter moves into the apartment next door and slowly becomes acquainted to her. First via internet later in actual meetings. The subject takes control over the reporter unnoticably. More and more the characters seem to be trapped in uncertain agony of dream and wake realities. In the end the reporter will dissolve out of the film only to transcend into the realm of his own broadcasts.
