In cooperation with the European cultural channel arte, the European film Academy annually honours an outstanding achievement in documentary filmmaking: Hubert Sauper's documentary Darwin's Nightmare - recently acclaimed in Venice (Label Europa Cineams Award), Toronto, San Sebastian and Vienna (Vienna Film Award) - is the 2004 winner of the European Film Adacemy Documentary - Prix Arte. The award will be presented during the Awards Ceremony in Barcelona on Saturday, December 11.
