Fleeing from the Nazis, Oscar Roemer, Ruth D. Lechuga and Bruno Schwebel came to Mexico, because it was the only country which was willing to accept them. The first cultural shock was followed by a lifelong struggle in order to define the idea of home that was left behind in Vienna.
