Christian Berger wins ASC prize for THE WHITE RIBBON

 


Christian Berger won the top feature film prize for The White Ribbon at the 24th Annual American Society of Cinematographers  Outstanding Achievement Awards. The White Ribbon was the first black-and-white film since The Man Who Wasn’t There (2002) and the first European movie since A very Long Engagement (2004) to be awarded this major distinction for cinematography. Christian Berger is also Oscar-nominated for best cinematography.
