One night, medical student Konstantin meets a self-destructive woman, perhaps by accident, perhaps because this is the first time he’s ever looked for someone. Konstantin wants to help, and takes her home with him. Both of them try to get closer to the other, and both fail. Konstantin and the woman are both lonely and suffer from their specters until, by chance, he’s truly able to help her.
