Souls of a River is a search for traces of the fragile concept of identity. A filmmaker as a traveler, meets a Professor of Forensic Medecine, who fights for the dignity of drowned refugees, on the Evros River, which marks the EU's southern external border between Greece and Turkey. At the border between the unknown and home, life and death, memories and the forgotten, the fragility of human identity is revealed.
